The school has been designated a National Support School from March this year following our success in Ofsted last year.

Pupils, staff and governors are absolutely delighted after The Mill Primary Academy was rated ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted following a visit in May 2016.

‘Leaders (at all levels) are ambitious and determined that every pupil will succeed.’

‘The executive headteacher and headteacher promote a clear, inspiring vision for the school. Working exceptionally well together, they have led rapid and secure improvement.’

‘The whole staff team strive together to provide the BEST care and education for ALL the school’ pupils.’ We added our own emphasis from that quote but it is one we are particularly proud of!

The Mill Primary Academy – May 2016 Ofsted Report

Our end of year results for 2015-2016 demonstrated that the children are making progress and are attaining results in line with National in many areas.

At the end of Reception  64% of children attained a ‘Good Level of Development’.  Nationally 62% acheived this. Our children get a good start to their education at the Mill Primary Academy.

Our KS2 results showed a marked improvement too with 4% achieving a higher standard in reading, writing and maths, 2% above West Sussex average.
