The Mill Admissions Policy Sept 2018
The Mill Primary Academy’s admissions policy and procedure is governed by the Funding Agreement with the Secretary of State. The academy has a Supplemental Funding Agreement (SFA) in which Annex 1 specifically covers the policy on admissions arrangements in the academy.
The admissions arrangements have not changed since The Mill Primary became an academy.
We advise you to phone us and visit. We sometimes have places in some year groups and our office staff can help. Our admissions are still coordinated through West Sussex.
Reception year admissions

Open Day – Monday 20th November 2017 9.30am and 2.00pm. Drop by for a tour of the school. Meet our team, see our Wild Things library; meet the goats; see our cafe and see for yourselves the quality learning experience that we provide for our children. You are more than welcome to bring your child or come by yourself.
In Year Admissions
Admissions for year groups other than Reception are co-ordinated by the school. For all in year admissions we strongly advise a visit to the school to meet the Headteacher. Please phone the school office to book an appointment.
Class sizes are set at a maximum of 30 and, because of the high demand for school places, for all in-year admissions we may ask to see proof of residence. This can take the form of tenancy agreements or utility bills in the name of anyone with legal parental responsibility for the child/children.
There can be fewer more important decisions in life than which school to send your child to; we know how crucial this is which is why we always make time available so that you can make an informed decision.
See our Contact page for where we are and how to get in touch.
