What a day in Room 13!

Hi Everyone,

Phew, what a busy day!  Thank you for sending so many children to Room 13, really big apologies that I had to send some children back due to lack of space.  We’ll be carrying on with the same work next week so anyone who wanted to come but missed it will be very welcome next Thursday.

The children worked tremendously hard today and we produced a great piece of work in response to Sonia Delaunay’s famous concertina book.

Today’s roll call was 6 x Moore, 2 x Lichtenstein, 2 x Goldsworthy, 6 x Mondrian, 3 x Van Gogh, 4 x Hokusai, 2 x Rousseau.

Special mention goes to Callum and Jenson.  They really knuckled down and produced excellent pieces of work.  Jenson came back at lunch time, working patiently on a piece of clay and helping me by being ‘doorman’ (crowd control!).

Also big mention for Nieve – what a superstar.  After finishing her piece of work she helped me with Year 3 students, doing a bit of skill sharing and lots of tidying up!

Hope you have a great weekend, see you again next week.

Kind regards,

Janey
