Wire hens

Another good and busy day yesterday in Room 13.

7 children from Goldsworthy in the morning. Busy lunchtime with committee helping. 12 children from Years 5 & 6 plus Adam (from committee) helping in afternoon – actually had to turn a couple away due to lack of space so could have had more. Good to see students and teachers so keen.

We spent the afternoon making wire hens using bits of household items such as scrubbers and screws. The children had a great time and were very pleased with their results – special mention to Luka who made the best hen, finished early and was able to then help others. Also Max who made a good hen and did good sketching of hens previous week.
