Sonia Delaunay!

Hi Everyone

Hope you all had a great day!  

We had a busy day in Room 13 – 6 x Moore, 3 x Lichtenstein, 3 x Goldsworthy, 8 x Rousseau, 3 x Mondrian, 5 x Hokusai, 2 x Van Gogh.

We looked at the artist Sonia Delaunay and created colourful work using circles and lines.  First time using a compass for lots of children!  

Special mentions go to Daniel and  Lexi who really grasped the concept well and executed really good pieces of work.  Four girls came from Moore class also who were really dedicated, concentrated and worked really hard.

 We’ll be continuing with Delaunay for the rest of the term, the work will culminate in a prominent display.  However Room 13 will not be open to children next week as we are closed for a planning day.  (I’ll be in the school though).
