EYFS Trip to Washbrooks Farm

Our youngest learners had a wonderful adventure this week as they visited Washbrooks Farm for a day packed with exploration, learning and laughter.

The children were full of excitement as they met a variety of farm animals, including goats, pigs, cows, and even some very cheeky chickens! They had the chance to feed and stroke some of the animals, ask questions, and learn all about life on the farm.

As well as meeting the animals, the children loved exploring the outdoor play areas, riding on the tractor-trailer, and enjoying time with their friends in the fresh air. It was a brilliant opportunity to build on their understanding of the world in a hands-on, memorable way.

A big thank you to the staff at Washbrooks Farm for making us feel so welcome, and to all the adults who supported the trip. Our EYFS children were a credit to the school—curious, kind and brilliantly behaved throughout the day.

What a fantastic start to their learning journey!
