Summer Fun at The Mill Primary!

This summer, The Mill Primary was buzzing with energy as we welcomed children and families to an exciting programme of activities, thanks to our HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) funded sports camp and a range of special workshops.

Our sports camp gave children the chance to try out a variety of activities, with something to inspire everyone. From football matches filled with teamwork and skill, to testing out precision in archery, to the thrill of parkour and the focus of cricket – the camp was full of smiles, challenge and achievement.

We also hosted Summer Adventure Camp, which encouraged children to explore, get active and make new friends along the way. It was wonderful to see children developing confidence, resilience and creativity while having fun.

On top of that, we were delighted to host some brilliant workshops. West Sussex Music joined us for a DJ workshop, where children learned how to mix tracks and experiment with sound – sparking plenty of future music producers! A dance workshop also brought rhythm and movement to the hall, with children expressing themselves through music and choreography.

A huge thank you to all the staff, partners and families who helped make this summer such a success. The Mill Primary is proud to be at the heart of our community, giving children opportunities to be active, creative and adventurous – even during the holidays.
