Stepping into Spring in Room 13!

Hope you had a great day today!
It’s amazing what children can draw when they are shown how! Take a look at these gorgeous daffodils that have been added to our spring landscape (we created it 2 weeks ago with floor mops and brushes). The picture of one daffodil on its own is outstanding and was drawn by Ellie at lunchtime. She was pleased as punch, and rightly so.
The children also drew some spring animals such as sheep and rabbits. At first the rabbits looked like little teddy bears but as we started to look at how everything is just made up as a series of shapes, the results started to look great.
Today we had:
3 x Moore, 3 x Hokusai, 3 x Goldsworthy, 3 x Lichtenstein, 4 x Riley, 3 x Rousseau.
Special mention goes to Nalle who is a superb little artist – she produced some fantastic results and has natural ability that should be encouraged.
